Local charity supporting people with visual impairments in West Cumbria.

Sight Support West Cumbria is a local independent charity supporting visually impaired people of all ages throughout West Cumbria (Allerdale and Copeland) to live full and independent lives or understand and adapt to a new diagnosis of sight loss. We cover a geographical area that includes Egremont and Cleator Moor, Whitehaven, Workington, Maryport, Cockermouth, Aspatria and Wigton.

• Support visually impaired people to live independently
• Provide a Resource and Information drop-in Centre
• Support visually impaired people through home visits and telephone support
• Stock a wide range of specialist equipment and independent living aids
• Provide advice and guidance to visually impaired people and to their families and carers
• Organise social activities and provide support groups at several locations.
