Ray-Ban Meta Glasses Demonstrations in West Cumbria – Home Visits Available
Sight Support West Cumbria is now offering Ray-Ban Meta glasses demonstrations at its accessible drop-in centre in Whitehaven town centre, as well as through home visits to visually impaired people across Copeland and Allerdale.
Our Vision Support Officer can visit people in Whitehaven, Workington, Cockermouth, Maryport, Egremont, Cleator Moor, Aspatria, and Wigton, providing personalised demonstrations and support in the comfort of your own home. This service is designed to help people understand how assistive technology like Ray-Ban Meta glasses can support everyday independence.
Our drop-in centre is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and is located on the ground floor, making it easy to access for visitors from across West Cumbria.
Sight Support West Cumbria is a local independent charity supporting people with visual impairments across Copeland and Allerdale. We work with people of all ages to help them live full and independent lives, whether they are adapting to a new diagnosis of sight loss or looking for practical tools and ongoing support.
Ray-Ban Meta glasses allow users to access Meta AI hands-free, helping with everyday tasks such as reminders, navigation, and live translation. The glasses also feature a built-in camera for capturing photos and videos, along with open-ear audio for calls, music, and voice assistance while staying aware of your surroundings.
